Hi! My name is Sam Adeoye. I’m obsessed with new ideas, crazy ideas, any freaking ideas. These are what I write about here. Ideas, Innovation, Creativity.
There’s a reason I’ve become addicted to innovation. All my life, I’ve been in marketing communications. At the beginning I was a reporter at the Guardian. Then, I made a detour into advertising, where I spent, like, nine years, including three as creative director at DKK and another one as deputy creative director at STB McCann. But the whole advertising adventure actually began at 141 Worldwide.
[Edit: I’m back at STB McCann as Creative Director]
At a point, in between my gig as a copywriter, I moonlighted as the founding COO of RedGecko, which is owned by Verdant Zeal, the agency employing me at the time. Yes, RedGecko is still there; they do PR and custom publishing. Please check them out.
I must also mention that I’m the founder of The Sunday Brunch, which is a hyper-fast one-day mentorship event for rising executives and entrepreneurs. You should join us one of these days.
Now, the Book of Sam is my own newspaper, my white board. This is where I say what I like, interview the people I admire and share what I learn from them. Sometimes, I let others tell me what they like here, too.
For storytelling consulting: press releases, internal magazines, websites and blogs, coffee table books, bookazines, advertising, and PR, please give me a call. Why? Because fandom is religion, and, with crystal clear communication, I can raise you new fanatics.
